St. Bernard Academy - Spanish 5-6 ~ Fall 2024

The Spanish 5-6 class is for the eldest elementary-age students ready to begin their Spanish language adventure!  We focus on actively communicating with native pronunciation while learning everyday communication in reading and writing through student-to-student activities.  Each semester is NEW! We don't repeat our "Language In Action" curriculum for three years. Along with language learning, students will learn about the culture of a Spanish-speaking country with an art project to take home! Every two weeks, we feature a new topic of conversation, such as pets, sports, clothing, foods, school, and your house. Each week, students learn how to ask and answer questions through engaging age-appropriate programs using fun games, songs, and skill-building activities.

In addition to our classroom learning, all students will receive secure access to our online “Student Corner” resources. Our learning resources use fun games, theme worksheets and age-appropriate YouTube videos to reinforce weekly lessons. All classroom materials provided!    So, let's all get together and have fun learning Spanish!!
